Handcrafted Tanto "Hissatsu" Knife - Hybrid Kydex/ Leather Sheath

 

 

Inspired by my time in the service stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Rustic handcrafted full-tang Tanto knife. This Hissatsu-style knife was fire forged over coals and heat tempered in Japanese fashion. 1095 carbon steel. 7" blade and 12" overall length. American Oak scales. Japanese Kanji "Honor" etched on blade steel along with my maker's mark. Convex grind. Knife is sharp.

Hand stitched brown Kydex sheath with 100% veg tan leather frog and belt loop. Sheath can be removed from leather frog for both left-hand or right-hand carry.

Hybrid Kydex and leather sheath will keep your carbon steel blade dry, while retaining a classical Japanese design.

Materials are American made steel, oak scales, and hand made in Texas.
